Yo Pennies & Pens –
Honestly, I’m not even gonna write much about the Bears & 49ers game from Monday. I really feel some type of way about it. I understand that the 49ers are a serious squad, but so are the Bears! I mean come on son, 32-7?! For real?! Like really?! DONE. According Yardbarker, some of the Bears players did anonymously admit to not taking the 49ers back-up QB,Ā Colin Kaepernick seriously. First off, what kind of shit is that?! Son, I don’t care who you’re playing you always give it your best. Go hard or go home.
So what happened after the Bears defense decided Kaepernick and the 49ers offense wasn’t worth playing hard against? Kaepernick passed for 243 yards and had two touchdowns. Oh. Oh shit. Yea, so I guess next time y’all will be reviewing that playbook and watching the 49ers game tapes, huh? I mean you better! How you let a backup QB embarrass you like that?! Aren’t you one of the top defenses in the league? Play like it!
Now let’s go to the Bears offense. If one could call it that. I mean they lined up on the line of scrimmage, hiked the ball, and had all the basics right but other than that they stank the place up. Poor Jason Campbell spent more time on the ground being sacked than he did attempting to throw the ball to his less than stellar receivers. Jason was sacked 5 times and threw 2 interceptions. Honestly, he’s lucky he’s cute because even with a weak offensive line and inconsistent receivers, he rarely makes “plays”. Michael Vick played under the same circumstances while in Atlanta and still managed to be a playmaker. Jason may be the back-up but he’s gotta step it up. Rumor has it Cutler will be back this week so Jason’s back to the bench. If he wants to make it, he’s gotta learn to make plays happen no matter what.
I’m done talking about this game now. The only stats worth more words come from the 49ers and I just can’t give them that blog space right now. I’m just too bitter. #andthereitis #PenSport
And there it is. de la Pen…All Pen Everything.Ā
