In this post, Pen’s Rhythm Nation: Absolute Zero by Baekho, I open Baekho’s solo debut album, Absolute Zero. I discovered the title song, No Rules via YouTube as the music video popped up in my timeline. I had heard of Baekho before because of a collaboration he did with Wonho so I was curious about his music.
Upon clicking on the No Rules music video, I had to admit that the whistle part of the song will live rent free in my mind forever. Lol! I’m usually not the type to quote innanet sayings but in this case, it’s genuinely true. No Rules is a truly special song that does recognition. It’s an instant classic.

In the vlog below, I unbox Absolute Zero by Baekho. This album has a unique design and the photos are stunning. Not to mention the music itself. It’s truly a lovely album and I’m so happy I got it.
Absolute Zero is truly original and is unlike anything else in K Pop. It reminds me of 90s R&B with its smooth, chill vibes. It also infuses rock which I love because it gives it a unique vibe. Absolute Zero is definitely one of the best solo debuts of all time and in my top 10 albums of 2022.
