Happy Birthday Hyungwon! Yesterday, January 15th was Hyungwon’s birthday so I thought it would be fun to spotlight his work as a composer. Happy Hyungwon Day!
Hyungwon is a vocalist, rapper, dancer, actor, model, DJ and member of MONSTA X, The Kings of K-Pop. Hyungwon has written and produced nine MONSTA X songs as well as two of Kihyun’s solo songs.

In the vlog below, I talk about the best MONSTA X Songs written and produced by Hyungwon. I created a playlist of the songs so that I could go through them one by one while shooting the vlog.
Hyungwon started composing songs for MONSTA X in 2020; the first song was Nobody Else featured on MONSTA X’s Fatal Love album. Since then, he’s been creating dark R&B songs such as Wildfire, Mercy, Burning Up, Love Me A Little, and many more.
I truly believe that Hyungwon, Joohoney and I.M are a modern Lennon/McCartney as a songwriting team. The music they make is so classic and memorable. As a Monbebe, I couldn’t be more proud.
