In this post, K Penny: Mamamoo U.S. Tour and Mamamoo+ Chico Malo, I talk about Mamamoo’s upcoming U.S. Tour and Mamamoo+’s new song, Chico Malo. Consisting of Solar, Moonbyul, Whee In and Hwasa, Mamamoo is one of my favorite girl groups of all time. As I declared in a previous post, Mamamoo are The Queens of K Pop.
Mamamoo has a flawless discography of both group and solo music. No one does it quite like them. To me, they are the female equivalent of Monsta X. I discovered Mamamoo in late 2020 and it’s been an amazing journey as a Moomoo.

In the vlog below, I talk about how I found out about Mamamoo’s U.S. Tour. I also talk about why I believe it took so long for them to do a world tour (they haven’t toured in 9 years). I believe sexism and lack of support for a female K Pop group is why they haven’t toured. In essence, I’m glad to see that they are overcoming and proceeding with their tour.
It’s going to be amazing to see Mamamoo live. From what I have heard, they are true live vocalists, rappers and performers so it’s going to be a phenomenal show. I absolutely cannot wait to see it.
In the vlog, I also review Mamamoo+’s new song, Chico Malo. Mamamoo+ is a subunit of Mamamoo consisting of Solar and Moonbyul. They released a song Better last year with Big Naughty, now they’re returning with their first single album, Act 1, Scene 1.
