In this post, Pen’s Rhythm Nation: Why I Love Nas I talk about why I love Nas. This week, I realized that I’ve never done a post dedicated to Nas so of course I had to change that immediately. Nas is absolutely one of The Kings of Rap (along with Jay Z).
Nas is one of the GOATs (Greatest Of All Time). No one raps like Nas. His storytelling skills, lyrical flows, and wordplay make him one of the best to ever tap the mic. With 15 albums under his belt, I’m not even sure why people are debating his influence and relevance.
Why I Love Nas
In the vlog below, I talk about why I love Nas and his music. Since 1994, Nas has been blessing our ears with unique and original music. No one raps quite like Nas. He has the ability to switch up his style and always create something fresh.
Nas has grown up in Hip-hop going from Illmatic to Magic. Witnessing his journey has been amazing. For 30 years, we’ve had Nas and his music so we must give him his flowers. He deserves it.
