In this post, A Single Penny Christmas: Christmas Tree Lighting @ Klyde Warren Park, I introduce my new vlog series with the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas. Welcome to A Single Penny Christmas!
This year, I am starting a new Christmas tradition where I document what I do as a single Black female (addicted to retail) during the holiday season. I am creating this series because I want to dispel myths and negative narratives about single people. It’ll also be my space to vent because sometimes being single sucks.
That said, over the next month, I’ll be posting different vlogs that document how I spent the Christmas holidays. Right now, I’m still in Dallas but I’ll be going home to Cincinnati and Georgia for two weeks to celebrate with my family.
