In this post, Pen’s Eye: Booker T Washington 100 Year Anniversary Celebration, I am going to share with you a vlog of me attending Booker T. Washington High School 100 Year Anniversary Celebration at Pencil on Paper Gallery here in Dallas.
Like most people, I haven’t gone out much since the pandemic started so it was nice to get out of the house. Booker T. Washington is a local arts high school here in Dallas and Pencil on Paper is a Black owned art gallery.
In the vlog below, you’ll see me at Pencil on Paper Gallery and art by Emmanuel Gillespie on display. It was beautiful to see all the stunning artwork on display. And super cool to know Booker T. Washington HS is 100 years old!
I enjoyed the event although I am still a bit socially awkward and didn’t really talk to anyone. You’ll see that in the vlog.
