In this post, C Pen: 90s R&B CD Haul: Brandy, Toni Braxton, The Fugees and more, I share my latest CD purchases. As you all know, I love collecting CDs and vinyl records.
Therefore, C Pen will now be dedicated to which CDs I’ve added to my collection whereas Vinyl Ink will focus on new records in my collection. C Pen will mostly feature 90s R&B and Hip-hop as I love collecting classic music on CD.
Plus it’s cheaper since I can score dope used CDs at Josey Records for $1. It’s also fun to browse the shelves at Josey and discover my favorite R&B and Hip-hop classics.
In the vlog below, I share my latest CD purchases which includes Brandy, Toni Braxton, The Fugees and more. All of these CDs were purchased at Josey Records, my favorite record store here in Dallas.
Why I Collect CDs
I have always loved collecting CDs and I’m so happy I got back into it. It feels more personal and special when you listen to music on a CD or vinyl record. Also, I miss 90s R&B, it was such an iconic time for music. The music produced in that decade is unlike anything else. It’s truly original.
And the artists featured in this video are no exception. From millennial divas like Brandy and Monica to Hip hop icons like The Fugees, this vlog features so many dope 90s R&B albums.
These albums are some of the greatest albums ever produced with truly unique content. I am so hype that Josey had my favorites in stock! I think I’ll try to shoot a live vlog on my next visit. Please let me know what you think in the comments!
