Dear Pennies & Pens,
Mariah Carey has always been one of my favorite artists. She’s truly a music icon and one of the best vocalists, songwriters and producers of all time. No one does it like Mariah Carey.
Years ago, I wrote a review of her Caution album (an underrated modern classic). Now, I’m back with a review of Mariah’s autobiography/memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey.
To say that this book was powerful is an understatement. It was life changing. Mariah’s story is one of triumph and tragedy. In this book, she doesn’t hold much back. She shares her story and her truth. It’s absolutely beautiful.
The Meaning of Mariah Carey was written in collaboration with Michaela Angela Davis (an iconic NYC based Black female writer who you must know). It’s absolutely a must read book for any Lamb, music fan or person who likes reading cool stories.
In the video below, I share my thoughts on the book, The Meaning of Mariah Carey. Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments.
And there it is. de la Pen…All Pen Everything. With us, keeping it real never goes wrong.
