Dear Pennies & Pens,
Time flies when you’re having fun as Janet Jackson once sang. The thing is that’s seriously true because I didn’t realize that I blogged about Monsta X back in July 2021. It just doesn’t seem like it was that long ago. Most likely because Monsta X has been keeping Monbebes like me well fed with amazing content.
Most recently in November 2021, they released their 10th mini album, No Limit featuring a title track called Rush Hour that was written and produced by Jooheon. Then in December 2021, they released their 2nd all English album, The Dreaming. So Monbebes have been busy streaming and voting to support our Korean Kings.
Recently, I was blessed to receive a copy of Monsta X’s 2022 Seasons Greetings as a Christmas gift from my sister. And I must say, it is truly a blessing. First off, the packaging is absolutely stunning!!!
Sometimes “fans” speak negatively about Starship Entertainment (Monsta X’s agency) and other Kpop agencies but in my opinion, they do an amazing job. Like the design details and the way everything was packaged was created by someone who understands marketing and design. It’s seriously beautiful.
So anyway, in the video below, I unbox Monsta X’s 2022 Seasons Greetings. For those that don’t know, almost all Kpop artists do a Seasons Greetings – it’s basically a package that includes a desk calendar, photobook, photos, poster, photocards, and other extras. It’s a fun package because it’s a way to connect with your favorite artist throughout the year but still have something that is useful (we all know sometimes merch is just useless).
This video shows me opening the package from the shipping box so it’s really fun to see. Be sure to check it out and leave a comment below with your thoughts.
And there it is. de la Pen…All Pen Everything. With us, keeping it real never goes wrong.
