As you all know, I just launched Pennies & Pens, a vegan, organic and sustainable lifestyle brand created to inspire and empower multicultural millennials to ink the life they’ve always wanted. Our Fall/Winter 2020 collection includes 100% Organic Cotton T-Shirts. 

However, today it hit me that a lot of people might not know much about organic cotton. Since I’ve spent months researching organic cotton to create the collection, I’ve learned a thing or two about it. Therefore, I wanted to share some info with you today.

“Organic cotton is cotton that is produced and certified to organic agricultural standards. Organic cotton farming does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs (genetically modified organisms).

When creating the Pennies & Pens collection, I knew I wanted to go with organic cotton because it’s good for the environment and it is so much softer than regular cotton. And since comfort is the main priority with the Pennies & Pens shirts, I wanted to use the best materials possible. Plus organic cotton is super exclusive.
