Dear Pennies & Pens,
Little baby, there is one man that I want in my life right now and his name is Maluma, baby. Before I actually talk about Colombian artist, Maluma, I need to emphasize how fine this man is and how gorgeous our children would be. The fact that Maluma has no idea I exist is a small technicality in our relationship. So stop hating and keep reading.
So as it would seem, discovering Becky G also helped me discover Maluma. Becky & Maluma collaborated on a song and upon hearing it, I decided to check out Maluma’s music. Needless to say, his FAME and 11:11 albums have become my new shit. They are in constant rotation in my Apple Music library.
Once again, yall know Penny doesn’t speak much Spanish so most of Maluma’s music goes over my head. But the way he performs his music with such energy and passion is what draws me in, although I can’t understand the words. I actually prefer to hear Maluma in Spanish because it sounds and feels more natural since Spanish is his first language.
My favorite tracks from the FAME album include: Corazon, El Prestamo, Cuenta a Saldo, and How I Like It. From 11:11, I dig 11 PM, HP, and Soltera with Madonna. Each of these songs has their own flavor and sound hence why I like them. Maluma has extensive vocal range so he performs well on different songs. That’s a talent that is sometimes lost or overlooked in modern music.
I recommend listening to Maluma’s FAME album in the morning before work or during happy hour. 11:11 is best when you’re in a party mood.
Of course, you can mix and match when you listen to these albums, this is just some food for thought. Listen to a preview of Maluma’s F.A.M.E album below.
And there it is. de la Pen…All Pen Everything. With us, keeping it real never goes wrong.
