Dear Pennies & Pens,
In this post, 10 Years of Ink: The Best of de la Pen…All Pen Everything, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite posts from the last ten years. I cannot believe it’s been 10 years since I started de la Pen…All Pen Everything! The past 10 years has been a wild ride. I’ve had so many ups n downs, highs n lows. But as we move into 2020, I cannot wait to see what the future brings.
Originally created to be a fashion blog, de la Pen…All Pen Everything has become so much more. It’s a multicultural lifestyle magazine dedicated to inspiring and empowering multicultural millennials and creatives to ink the life they’ve always wanted.
So as we look to the future, I am planning to provide more value as far as offering tips and advice on business, travel, fashion, beauty, music, art and lifestyle. I want de la Pen…All Pen Everything to become a destination. But first, allow me to remind you that de la Pen…All Pen Everything has been featuring high quality, original content since day one.
Over the years, I have written about literally everything. I have posts about New York Fashion Week, Copenhagen Fashion Week, I’ve also featured beauty brands like Rimmel London, I’ve traveled to Uzbekistan, Charleston, Birmingham, Baltimore, Washington D.C., L.A., San Francisco, Napa, Chicago, Denver, Portland, NYC, and Copenhagen.
And let us not forget that I’ve written tons of music posts. There are my posts on about my lyrical hip-hop crushes, my fave UK girl group Little Mix, the fabulous diva that is Mariah Carey, Mya, an underrated R&B artist and so many others. I’ve also published film posts about What Men Want, The Holiday Calendar, A Gingerbread Romance and other classic romantic comedies. As far as art, I’ve interviewed countless artists such as Derek Fordjour, Kiarra Elliott, and Spencer Evans.
When it comes to lifestyle, I’ve shared running tips and talked about how to ink the life you’ve always wanted. As far as business, I have posts teaching you how to publish a book, how to create a flyer to promote your product, and one that talks about the difference between followers and customers.
So what I’d love for you to do right now, Pennies & Pens is click on dem links and read dem posts, little baby. I was going to do this post as a list post but I sort of hate list posts. It’s turned too many people into scrollers and not readers.
So with all the inkcherries on top, please enjoy reading the dopest ink from 10 years of ink. IMPORTANT: As soon as I publish this post, I am playing #QuietPen until January 6th. Happy Holidays!
And there it is. de la Pen…All Pen Everything. With us, keeping it real never goals wrong.
