Dear Pennies & Pens,
In this post, I am going to talk about working with chloedigital. Last year, something absolutely amazing and life changing happened! Like seriously. The epic moment was when I was introduced to chloedigital when they did a conference here in Dallas. chloedigital is a UK based company that provides tech support and strategic consulting to lifestyle publishers.
Furthermore, they also create content on their blog and social media channels to give bloggers and content creators advice. It is such a cool and innovative company concept, I seriously can’t believe it exists! For years, creatives like me have had to struggle doing everything on our own. So it’s lovely to know someone aka Chloe Watts, CEO of chloedigital, recognized this and decided to do something about it.
How I discovered chloedigital
As I mentioned previously, chloedigital hosted a series of events called the #CDWorldTour. During these events, the CD Team traveled to Dallas, NYC, and LA where they hosted a conference for bloggers and creatives in the area. I attended the Dallas edition of the #CDWorldTour and it was AMAZING!
Like y’all there were reps from Pinterest, Later as well as some of Dallas’ most sought after speakers. I learned so much, it was truly amazing! Also, the networking was bomb! It was truly fantastic.
Why I became a CD Babe
- I love what they do – Like I said previously, I love chloedigital and what they do! Creatives like me need a team that provides tech support and strategic consulting. I don’t like doing tech stuff so one of the major things I love about chloedigital is I don’t have to spend time updating plugins, updating WordPress, backing up my site, etc. I simply send an email and BOOM, it’s done! They even installed and customized my new theme.
- I experienced the brand online & offline – Prior to attending the #CDWorldTour, I communicated with the chloedigital team via email. They sent me a simple intro email and so I checked out their website and saw that these ladies mean business. I loved the interactions that I had with the CD team and so my interest was piqued. Then when I went to the #CDWorldTour, I was completely and utterly sold on them.
- Team CD didn’t pressure me into working with them – So we’ve all had someone that we’re not interested in working with email us all day, everyday. Not the case with Team CD. They’d check in with me but they never made me feel like working with them was something I had to do. They let it be my decision and let their work speak for themselves.
- I genuinely wanted and needed the help – So as I mentioned earlier, I have been blogging for 11 years. This means, I came in the game at the same time as some of the industry’s biggest bloggers and entrepreneurs like Crosby Noricks from PR Couture, Claire Sulmers of the Fashion Bomb Daily, Chriselle Lim, and so many others. Although, I have absolutely seen my own growth and change, I’m not the household name they are. It’s like seeing someone you know graduate and you’re still struggling with freshmen English. I know we all have our own journey and story which is why I am proud of these women and their growth. But when I started working with CD, I realized that I genuinely wanted and needed the help. So for me, it was the strategic consulting that sold me on CD. The chance to have someone to bounce ideas off of, give me advice to help grow my brand and business, that’s what I wanted.
- I have the budget – I thank the Sweet Baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling cloth lying in a manager that I finally landed a high paying job so I now have the budget to invest in the business. Literally, within one month of getting the job, I became a CD VIP Member. I wasn’t playing yall! So having the budget to able to afford chloedigital is also why I joined.
Why I love working with chloedigital
- Strategic consulting – So y’all even after all these years as a blogger, there were things that I just didn’t know and wasn’t doing. Working with chloedigital has helped me see that there are things I need to improve upon behind the scenes in order to get my brand and business where I want it to be.
- Brainstorm – If I come up with a new content idea, I have someone to brainstorm and bounce ideas off of.
- Analytics – Chloedigital monitors my Google Analytics and so I get monthly reports that tell me how my content is performing. I am the worst at checking Google Analytics so this is a life saver.
- Tech support – Little baby, idk have time to Google how to install this plug in, update WordPress and whatever else when I’m in the middle creating content for de la Pen, producing ISLP’s next travel guide, writing my next book, or planning 8515’s next event. So being able to send an email and get those things done is a life + time saver.
Whoa. This is the longest blog post ever written since blogging was created. But I wanted to be thorough and detailed. If you made it to the end, Jesus loves you, little baby and don’t you forget it! Learn more about chloedigital here: chloedigital.
