Dear Pennies & Pens,
As you all hopefully know, I am a member of Circle Seven Five. CSF is a social club for young, professional women in Dallas.
Each month, CSF hosts a variety of events that focus on networking, professional development, and āgirls night outā type events. I adore CSF which is why I wrote about them here: LoudLife: Circle Seven Five.
CSF also allows members to host events. Member hosted events are smaller since only 10 people can come and the concept/format of the event is up to the member. Members do have to get CSF approval prior to hosting an event but being that the CSF team is pretty awesome thatās no biggie. Since becoming a member, Iāve been wanting to host an event but wasnāt sure what type of event to host.
Thatās when I realized that a blogger event would be perfect. Since I personally love brunch (I mean hello day drinking!!), I figured that this would be the perfect way to bring bloggers together. To me, there isnāt one type of blogger *coughs* person *coughs* millennial who doesnāt love brunch. Plus, Iāve met a ton of bloggers in CSF.
Once I touched base with the CSF team about the idea, they helped me plan the event as far as giving me feedback on the idea and providing guidelines on how to host a successful event. It was super helpful because I really wanted the attendees to feel like they benefitted from attending the event. I also wanted them to have fun!
The Blogger Babes Brunch was held at HG Sply Co in Lower Greenville and this proved to be a fabulous location! The CSF team helped me choose this location because I wanted a space that offered Vegan and non-Vegan options so we could all eat in harmony. The vibe at HG is second to none. Itās just so cool and hip. And with their delicious food, how could one ever go wrong?!
During the event, we munched on muffins and brunchy eats, sipped mimosas, coffee, and pop. All while we talked about blogging, pop culture, Dallas, and of course, Circle Seven Five! It was so much fun! I truly had a blast hanging out with other bloggers to exchange ideas, offer each other advice and support, and just connecting with new people.
The group was a truly diverse mix that included lifestyle, fashion, style, beauty, home decor, music bloggers. I have linked to each bloggerās Instagram handles and their blogs below so be sure to check them out!
