If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen me talking about working with my sister to plan our motherās retirement party. I am proud to announce that after 36 years of teaching in St. Louis and Cincinnati, my mother is officially retired. In order to celebrate, my sister and I decided to plan a party that friends and family could attend.
Being the businesswoman that I am, I suggested to my sister that we partner with a venue who could provide the space in exchange for marketing. I am thrilled to announce that we are working with Ivy Hills Country Club as they are our official venue sponsor and the location where we will host the party. Ivy Hills Country Club is located in Cincinnati, OH which is also my hometown and where my parents live.Ā

Members are afforded a fully stocked and PGA Professionally run Golf Shop; a fitness facility; spacious locker rooms; banquet facilities; conference rooms and a family oriented dining room. Ā Not to mention three Har-Tru tennis courts and a junior Olympic size swimming pool.

Since I am based in Texas, my sister who is in Nashville, traveled to Cincinnati to scope out venues. Upon finding Ivy Hills Country Club, we knew it was the perfect location for the party. It is a beautiful, classic venue surrounded by lovely green hills. The fabulous thing about Ivy Hills is that they have an in-house chef so they can cater your event.
This proved to be perfect for us because me and all my siblings do not live in Cincinnati, so it would have been extremely difficult to find a caterer. However, working with Ivy Hills made the whole process simple and easy. In particular, Ivy Hillsā Director of Sales, Jamie Cooper has been amazing throughout this whole project. Jamie helped us by giving feedback on the menu, event setup, and so much more. We truly appreciate everything that she has done.
