Hyatt Regency Birmingham The Wynfrey Hotel
For the Birmingham edition of Summer in the South, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham — The Wynfrey Hotel. With no further adieu, I present to you Summer in the South: Hyatt Regency Birmingham — The Wynfrey Hotel Review.
The Hyatt Regency Birmingham is a fabulous hotel in Hoover, the preferred suburb of Birmingham. Hyatt Regency Birmingham has 329 rooms, Shula’s Steakhouse, Merk’s Tavern, a heated pool that is open 365 days a year, a new Regency club, and a direct connection to the Riverchase Galleria which is the largest indoor shopping mall in Alabama.
Why I loved Hyatt Regency The Wynfrey Hotel
I absolutely loved the hotel! The hotel’s decor is chic and modern as the hotel recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation. My room was spacious and clean, it had a King size bed, a large flat screen TV, desk & chair, as well as a lounge chair.
The shower in the bathroom was amazing, the showerhead was larger so it felt like getting a massage. The room also had a closet large enough to store my luggage and I liked that because my luggage wasn’t out in the open.
My Thoughts on Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel
As far as the stay, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was given a tour of the hotel on Friday, so I did check out the pool but unfortunately, I didn’t get to lounge there as I had a full weekend.
I also saw the hotel’s event space which has been used for conferences, meetings, weddings, press conferences, etc. Depending on the time of year, the private events area can be booked weeks or months in advance.
Breakfast at Merk’s in Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel
On Saturday, I had breakfast at Merk’s and it was delicious! I had an Egg White Omelet which was healthy and tasty.
I snapped so many photos during breakfast that I ended up giving my business card to our server so he could check out the posts! It’s always great to network and connect with new readers so that was pretty dope.
Book a stay at Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel
Overall, I enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham and would definitely recommend it for your next trip to Birmingham!
