Summer in the South is a blog series that chronicles our travels and adventures in the Southern region of the U.S. Summer in the South is about showcasing the best cities, hotels, art, food, music, wine, beer, fashion, style as well as events in the South.
Summer in the South will also cover the rich history of the South, educating readers on the culture and customs of this unique region. The first edition of Summer in the South will feature Birmingham June 19-21, 2015.

Hyatt Regency Birmingham has 329 rooms, Shula’s Steakhouse, Merk’s Tavern, a heated pool that is open 365 days a year, a new Regency club, and a direct connection to the Riverchase Galleria which is the largest indoor shopping mall in Alabama.
The hotel recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation to make it more stylish and modern. Each room was renovated with the utmost care and attention.
Why I’m excited to stay at Hyatt Regency Birmingham The Wynfrey Hotel
I am excited to stay at the hotel because it’s been awhile since I stayed at a Hyatt. Hyatt is definitely a classic hotel brand, it’s a name we’ve all been hearing for years.
Since this is also my first trip to Birmingham, it’ll be a fun experience. Stay tuned for a full review of Hyatt Regency Birmingham!
