Dear Pennies & Pens,
As I mentioned in my last postĀ Now Let Me Ink That Page: #MakeUrPenLOUD, I’m headed to Dallas for the weekend to shoot the cover of my book #MakeUrPenLOUD. I’ll also be shooting Pen.Style: #MakeUrPenLOUD to promote the book. I’m really excited about those projects but what’s a business trip without some leisure time?
Last year, I launchedĀ Pen.Point: The Seasoned Traveler, a travel series dedicated to showcasing classy and unique hotels that can enhance the lives of āPennies & Pensā aka readers of de la Pen…All Pen Everything. I’m thrilled to be working with the Omni again to write a review of the Omni Mandalay HotelĀ at Las Colinas.
With the largest guest room accommodations in the Dallas area,Ā Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas appeals to both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is located in the bustling Las Colinas urban district and is lined with trees and cobblestone walkways with fresh blooms and lush greenery.
Omni Mandalay is very centrally located since it’s 10-15 min from DFW and Love Field Airport and about 20 min from downtown Dallas. It’s always great when a hotel is easily accessible so you don’t have to stress about how to get there.
Omni Mandalay Hotel has many amenities such as a heated lakeside swimming pool and whirlpool that are open year round, a complimentary fitness center, a jogging and biking trail around the hotel, Mokara Salon & Spa, and so much more.
The hotel also has plenty of dining and entertainment options likeĀ Trevis RestaurantĀ andĀ M Bar. I love it when hotels have in-house dining options because when traveling it can be difficult to find places to eat, but, if your hotel has a restaurant it makes it that much easier.
Omni Mandalay Hotel is an elegant, luxury hotel and I cannot wait to get there on Saturday. I’m literally about to be a kid in a candy store because I adore the Omni!
