Dear Pennies & Pens,
Thank goodness for besties! Besties not only listen to you bitch and complain about your problems, they support you no matter what, and best of all, they give you clothes!
My bestie @CachaLopez hooked me up with the fabulous pair of pants you will see in this post. Cacha` is pretty tall about 5’8″ and she didn’t want the pants so she gave them to me. One woman’s trash is another’s treasure, right?
I usually stay far away from prints but these pants spoke to me. The colors and the design are both so dope. Plus the pants are so easy to wear!
I paired the pants with a black tank top from H&M, sandals are from Vionic (whom I previously blogged about here: Press Pen: Vionic Santiago Sandal Review), the street vendor necklace and bracelet, earrings from Wal-Mart, and my mom’s vintage clutch.
This look is called Pen.Style: It’s All About The Pants because the pants are the focus of the look. Since the pants have such a busy print, it’s important to style it with a solid colored top so that everything flows and makes sense.
I absolutely love this outfit! It’s one of my favorites, it’s soooo comfortable and ultra chic. I have worn this outfit to work, to go out, and on a date.
This is my chill outfit, something I wear when I want to look cute but not like I’m trying too hard. Also this is a great Summertime outfit because it’s so freakin hot in Texas!
Once again this look was shot by Megan Mueller, check her out on Facebook: meganmuellerphotography and Instagram: @meganmweaver.
