I don’t like dresses or skirts. I only wear them on sparing occasions because I’m just not a girly girl. Plus dresses and skirts always require extra work. If it’s cold, you have to wear stockings to cover your legs and if it’s warm you have to shave your legs.
But last year, I copped the dress in this look from The Limited for like $7. The moment was as epic as the deal. I love this dress because it’s an earthy green and the pattern is houndstooth.
The style of the dress is a mod chic and there are pockets on the side. This dress is classy and sexy, it’s classy because it covers everything but the sex appeal comes from the fact that it bares my legs.
I paired the dress with my Vince Camuto heels, Wal-Mart earrings, and of course, my street vendor necklace. I should mention that I always wear the same jewelry. Jewelry is how I create my signature look because it’s the only thing that I can wear everyday.
I’ve worn this dress to church, dinner with my family, and to go out for drinks. The dress is pretty comfortable and it can be worn in Spring, Summer, or Fall. I really like this dress even if it is my only dress, lol!
