For as long as I can remember, I have loved the movie Clueless! It’s such an iconic film as far as fashion, style, and beauty. Not to mention all the quotable lines from the film.
For a movie released in 1995, it is still such a timeless piece of work. I still laugh at all the jokes, and watch it eyes wide open as if I’ve never seen it before.
I remember imitating the style of Cher and Dionne in the 90s, wearing knee high socks, collared tops, and fun skirts. I’ve always wondered what Cher and Dionne would be wearing if they were going to Bronson Alcott High School in 2014.
I think Cher’s style aesthetic would still be classic and chic. She’d still be rocking the latest trends, bright colors, and cool accessories.
Dionne would still make your eyes widen with her sexy looks. Remember that red pleather skirt or the midriff floral top and black skirt? Those definitely made you think…can a teenage girl wear that?
Dionne played with fun accessories by accessorizing her braids and wearing fabulous hats. In 2014, Dionne would definitely rock bodycon dresses, skater skirts, and midriff tops. She’d still be rockly sexy, stylish, pieces.
And what about Tai? What would she be wearing in 2014? Probably, something baggy and chill. I always picture Tai pre-makeover because that style was more her.
She’d also be rocking her curls especially with all the products on the market for naturally curly hair. These three ladies set a style standard. Years later, we’re all still trying to catch up.
