Dear Pennies & Pens,
So even though it’s not quite Wednesday, I wanted to share news of HALL Wines, Wine and Art Exploration Tour with you. HALL Wines Owners Craig and Kathryn Hall’s deep appreciation and passion for art led them to make it an integral part of the tasting experience at HALL wines. In essence, they created the Wine and Art Exploration Tour. The Wine and Art Exploration tour will showcase modern displays, sculptures, and installations by some of the most creative minds of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Wine and Art Exploration will take visitors on a journey designed to inspire and engage all of their senses.
The majority of the works reside in the recently unveiled, state-of-the-art Visitor’s Center, the space features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, open views of the production facility that allow guests to be immersed in the process of winemaking, with artwork seamlessly intertwined throughout. “Our vision is to craft artisan wines and showcase them alongside masterful art and architecture. Craig is an avid art collector, so our wineries are really a union of both our passions.” said vintner and HALL Wines owner, Kathryn Hall.
Wine tasting is woven throughout the Wine and Art Exploration tour that inspires all of the senses. Featuring some of the most influential, internationally acclaimed artists working today such as John Baldessari, Jaume Plensa, Peter Wegner, Nick Cave, Jim Campbell, and many others Wine and Art Exploration will nurture your soul and ignite your imagination. As I browsed the photos of the art at the Wine and Art Exploration tour, I was extremely impressed. The art looks unique, modern, and is set in the beautiful landscape of California. There was one piece that was my favorite and it was that of a rabbit suspended into the air! This piece is absolutely phenomenal. I especially love the way the piece looks in the image from below. It reminds me of how much art can inspire and innovate.
I definitely think that if you’re in the California area, you should make your way to St. Helena to taste some great wine and see amazing art! I mean what could be better than wine and art at the same time? For those that can’t make the tour, keep up with HALL Wines by checking out their website: hallwines.com.
