This past weekend, I was in one of my favorite cities ever…. Dallas, TX! (But, shhh…don’t tell my Houston peeps as there is a serious rivalry between the two cities). I stayed with one of my best friends and we spent the weekend hanging out, shopping, and eating. I had an amazing time and of course, I was inspired to blog about it.
Today, I present to you #Skintyfatgirl: The Best Eats in Dallas. This post features cool restaurants in Dallas that you must check out ASAP! With no further adieu, check out the list below.
1. Eno’s Pizza Tavern – Eno’s is an awesome pizza and pasta restaurant located in Oak Cliff. I absolutely loved this place! I had the Yard Pie and it was amazing! With ingredients like mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, chopped onion, chopped tomato, garlic, and ricotta, this pizza was EVERYTHING.
It was honestly one of the freshest pizzas, I’ve ever had. It reminded me of pizza I had in Italy and NYC. My friend and I also had the Truffle Cheese Bread for an appetizer and that was fantastic as well. I should also mention that I combined my pizza with the Peter Nicolav Riesling. The sweet wine was excellent with the pizza and I’d highly recommend this pairing. Check out Eno’s online here: enospizza.com
2. Dee Lincoln’s Fine Dining Room and Bubble Bar – Dee Lincoln’s is an upscale lounge/restaurant in Uptown Dallas. Dee Lincoln’s has a variety of cocktails, wines, and champagne. My friends and I went here for drinks and it was phenomenal.
I enjoyed the chic decor of Dee Lincoln’s, the trendy crowd, and tasty drinks. Dee Lincoln’s does serve food but unfortunately, I didn’t eat anything as we had already eaten. I would definitely encourage you to check out Dee Lincoln’s here: deelincolns.com
Oddfellows – Oddfellows is a restaurant also located in Oak Cliff. I had brunch here and the food was awesome! I had the Buffalo Mac and it was so good, I can still remember how it tasted. Mind you, I ate here on Sunday so as you can imagine it was the type of food that leaves you at a loss of words.
The Buffalo Mac consists of fried chicken topped with buffalo sauce and mac n cheese is placed underneath the chicken. Pairing the mac n cheese with the tangy buffalo chicken was a superb idea. Please check out Oddfellows here: oddfellowsdallas.com
