Dear Pennies & Pens,
Through some recent internet browsing, I discovered LA and Dallas based boutique, TENOVERSIX. As a lover of fashion, I knew I had to write about this boutique. TENOVERSIX was launched in the Fall of 2008 in LA. The boutique is owned by Kristen Lee, Brady Cunningham, and Joe Cole. Kristen serves as Creative Director and Buyer, while Brady is Art & Design Director and Buyer, and Joe is President handling all strategic business and brand growth.
While I haven’t had a chance to visit the TENOVERSIX in person (though I plan to check it out on a future trip to Dallas), I have been on the website many times. The TENOVERSIX website is fresh and of course it allows you to shop online. TENOVERSIX carries independent and established highly-acclaimed designers like Alexander Wang, Acne, Vena Cava, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Band of Outsiders.
As it states on the TENOVERSIX website, “We’re all about living with beautiful things: whether it’s Fashion to be worn, Art to be loved, Home Design to be lived with, Beauty to uplift, or Music/Books/Films to inspire. We want the experience at TENOVERSIX to be one of discovery, and we want it to be fun. The focus at TENOVERSIX is very much about bringing our customer a strong edit and displaying the product as art, but with a wink.”
