Dear Pennies & Pens,
One of the things I love about being Editor of de la Pen…All Pen Everything is that I get to test new and innovative products from a variety of brands. Most recently, I was able to receive and try out products from Clayspray which is a new skincare line. As stated in the press release, “Clayspray is the world’s first clay emulsion in a spray. This extraordinary range of unique masques is a fusion of two elements: the purest clay in the world with added natural ingredients to enhance skin’s well-being and natural spring water. The luxurious collection comprises both white clay masks and red clay masks and will soon be available to consumers in the United States.”
Basically, Clayspray is a clay mask in a bottle. Pretty cool, right?! I think so too. And even better, the products are amazing! It’s like a quick and easy DIY facial at home. What woman could resist something as fabulous as that? Sure we all love spa days when we can afford it, but why not have a product at home that will give you the same results for less? I sampled the following Clayspray products: Clayspray Pore Refining White Clay, Clayspray Brightening White Clay with Ginseng, Clayspray Mattifying Red Clay, and Hydrate H2O Spray Mineral Water.
As I said in my “About” page, de la Pen…All Pen Everything always keeps it real. And to be 100% honest, these products are simply amazing! The first product I tried was the Clayspray Brightening White Clay with Ginseng. The press release describes this product as one that “Exfoliates and removes dead skin cells, revealing a fresh new skin surface while ginseng energizes and brightens your skin, for an immediate replenished and healthy look.” I agree as this product left my face feel fresh and rejuvenated.
Next up was the Clayspray Pore Refining White Clay. The press release gives the following details about this product, “Clayspray Pore Refining White Clay purifies skin and refines pores, as well as perfects for a soft and smooth complexion. This luxurious clay not only removes impurities and environmental toxins but nourishes skin adding minerals to help prevent ageing.” Having said that, for my Pennies & Pens looking for an age defying mask to use, look no further. I enjoyed this product as well.
After that was the Clayspray Mattifying Red Clay. The press release describes who this product is for, “Clayspray Red Clay is for oily skin and delivers a truly deep cleanse. It is enriched with minerals that possess anti-aging benefits including silica to boost collagen iron to activate the circulation and magnesium to heal. It absorbs impurities whilst helping to reduces blemishes and regulate the skin’s natural oils for a fresh, matte appearance.” Since my skin is naturally oily, this product worked best for me. It not only cleansed my skin, it helped dissolve a few skin blemishes. Also a cool fun fact, the product matched my complexion. Upon applying it, I could barely tell the difference between the product and my skin, the colors matched that closely. So if you’re a woman of color, please get this product asap as most of us do have oily skin.
Last but not least was the Hydrate H2O Spray Mineral Water. I actually used this product before each clay mask because it is simply mineral water. However, I chose to write about it last. The website states that this product is, “Suitable for all skin types, this mineral rich mountain Spring water spray comforts and hydrates in one spritz, instantly hydrating the skin.” In essence, it is to be used before the clay mask so that you hydrate your skin before applying the mask. I liked it because it did in fact hydrate my skin.
Overall, I was very pleased with the Clayspray products and I would highly recommend them. Check out Clayspray.com for more info and follow them on Twitter: @Clayspray and Facebook: Clayspray.
