Recently, I joined iFabbo. iFabbo™ is a leading international organization for Fashion and Beauty bloggers and publishers. iFabbo’s innovative product placement platform, The iFabbo SHOP, allows brands and technology companies to selectively seed their products to highly targeted influencers they want to reach. In essence, the iFabbo Shop allows brands to partner with bloggers who then review their products. Having said that, you will see me reviewing products I’ve received via iFabbo from time to time.
My first iFabbo products came from Hydroxatone which is manufactured by ULTA. The first product I tried was the Hydroxatone Anti-Aging BB Cream. The cream is multipurpose meaning it can be can act as a foundation, concealer, sunblock, and moisturizer all at once. According to the website: “BB cream was initially formulated and used by dermatologists to help patients who received laser surgery protect, soothe and refine their sensitive skin while also providing them with a light coverage for post-laser scars, acne, and other skin imperfections.”

Some of the key benefits of the BB cream are it “reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles and overall skin aging as it visibly firms and lifts; make skin instantly look flawless and more youthful” and “hides uneven skin tone and minimizes the appearance of imperfections”. After reading all the details on the BB cream, I was super excited to test out the product.

However, I’ll admit I was disappointed in the BB cream. I must have gotten the wrong shade because the product just didn’t work for my complexion and skin. When I applied the cream, it made my skin turn stark white so I looked crazy ashy, lol! In essence, if you’re a sun-kissed black woman like me, make sure to buy the shade that matches your skin. Thank goodness, I saw they have different creams based on your complexion (on the website) so I just got the wrong sample.
Anti-Aging BB Cream
The next product was the Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex SPF 15. The AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex SPF 15 is a unique moisturizer specifically designed to increase skin hydration and soften the appearance of visible wrinkles by helping the skin stimulate the production of collagen. Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex SPF 15 improves the overall appearance of skin and helps with skin moisturization.
Now this product I loved! It was absolutely fabulous. It definitely moisturized my skin and made it so soft and smooth. I have used it several times and each time I fell deeper and deeper in love. I love skincare products that make my skin look healthy and clean. I would definitely recommend that you try this product. Overall, both products were cool but the AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex SPF 15 was my favorite.
