Dear Pennies & Pens,
As you hopefully know, I am a Jill of all Trades. In addition to being Editor of de la Pen, I’m also a Publicist. Right now I’m working with Fashion Stylist Amia Serrano and DJ Group CSxPD. I know it sounds like a lot but all roads are leading to me landing a full time position doing digital PR and social media for a brand or working on a long term freelance project. When I first started de la Pen, I did so to break into the fashion industry. I’ve attended countless events, met many amazing people, and I’ve built a solid resume. Now I’m just looking to take things to the next level. Hopefully my big break comes soon!
For the past few months, I’ve just been sending out lots of resumes and pitching to land bigger projects and campaigns. I’ve been getting a good response but just haven’t received that major “yes” yet. But I know I’m just two steps away so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
