Dear Pennies & Pens,
First off, I am so sorry for neglecting you for so long. Penny was dealing with some business and personal issues. Please feel free to read my vent about the situation on my blog: The Blogging PR Girl. In fact, definitely check out The Blogging PR Girl on the regular, it’s my Tumblr blog and it chronicles my life as a blogger, PR Girl, and stylist. I also include cool tidbits from my personal life.
I wanted to let you all know that I’ve decided to start some new sections for de la Pen so that I can feature a wider range of content that I know you’ll appreciate. As I grow and expand, I want my blog to do the same. In essence, I’ll be starting this section Now Let Me Ink That Page this will mostly be for when I need to make announcements about what’s happening here on de la Pen. Now Let Me Ink That Page allows me to vent and give you, my dear Pennies & Pens, a behind the scenes look at the life of a fashion blogger. I also recently kicked off the Pen.Point section and through those posts I’ll be reviewing music, restaurants, and films. Pen.Point is all about exposing you, my Pennies & Pens, to the latest music, restaurants, and films. For now these are the only two sections I’ll be adding to de la Pen.
Please note I am working on some major projects as well such as launching a digital magazine and I’m working on penning my first ebook. In fact, it’s funny that I’m going to start working on all these new projects because I had seriously lost my mojo for a second. I honestly wanted to quit PR, social media, and blogging altogether. But after taking a break, venting to friends and family, as well as going on two fabulous weekend getaways, I have finally recovered.
Having said all of this, I’m so excited to be kicking off Pen.Point Week which will run throughout this week. Pen.Point Week will feature a profile on a fresh new R&B singer, as well as two movie reviews (to find out more just stay tuned for the posts).
