Dear Pennies & Pens,
It’s Pen here to report on Zang Toi Fall/Winter 2012. If you follow me on Twitter (@LoudPen) or if you’ve been reading de la Pen for awhile, you know Zang Toi is my favorite designer. And this season was definitely one of Zang’s best. From the looks of the collection, it seems like Zang is seeking to become well known for his Ready-to-Wear pieces. Previously, Zang was the couturier of New York Fashion Week and even though he produced some amazing gowns, the Ready-to-Wear was fantastic.
The collection featured luxurious fabrics like cashmere, wool, silk, and organza. Also Zang’s immaculate tailoring was in full effect. The color palette was simple and consisted of white, ivory, black, grey, and ruby. My favorite piece from the RTW were the wide-leg black trousers because as a girly tomboy I adore the masculine-feminine look.
As I said earlier, there were also beautiful gowns in the collection. My favorite was a ruby silk gown. This piece was colorful, fun, and uber fabulous. Overall, the collection was superb and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
And there it is. de la Pen…All Pen Everything.

Can you give me even a rough idea of what a pair of Zang Toi wool women’s trousers would retail for? I appreciate your help.
Hey Lola! Thanks for your comment and my apologies for the delayed reply. Let me get back to you on the retail prices for Zang Toi trousers, I checked his website and couldn’t find that info.
So I’m going to send him and his team an email to find that out for you. Once I do, I’ll most likely do a formal post on it. In essence, stay tuned! Thanks 😉
