Dear Pennies and Pens,
So my apologies for just now working on posts for New York Fashion Week. It’s been “bananas in pajamas”, hehe. See my tweets @LoudPen. Moving right along, I have an exciting announcement for you guys today! For New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013, me and @CachaLopez have compiled a special group of Guest Bloggers and Editors to attend and cover shows. This is a special project of our company, The Network. They’re the FAM (Fashion.Art.Music) Bloggers because that’s the content they’ll be covering and as you hopefully know, the tagline for The Network is “Where Fashion, Art, Music, & Culture Lives”.
Since we work on a variety of projects, we felt that it was imperative that we attend and cover as many New York Fashion Week shows as possible in order to see the latest collections, research trends and designers, as well as networking with other Bloggers, Stylists, Editors, Publicists, and Managers attending the shows. In essence, stay tuned for our coverage which will be published here on de la Pen as well as Cacha`, Sexy Meets Classy, AC Kiss & Make-Up, and our new company blog 158th & Broadway which will be launching soon, the content will also be featured on each Guest Editors or Bloggers’ individual sites.
Now let me introduce the FAM Bloggers. First up we have, Kimberlee Van Der Wall, Fashion Blogger & SEO Writer. Kimberlee’s blog is I Have A Degree In This! Kimberlee describes herself & blog as follows: “I’m Kimberlee and my blog is called, “I Have A Degree In This” because well…I do. I felt there was a need in the blogging community for someone with a degree in fashion giving their educated opinion about fashion and culture. I have always had a passion for writing and fashion, now I get to do both with my blog!”
Next up we have Ashley Rudolph of What Would Ashley Wear? Ashley describes herself and blog here: “New York City girl at heart, worldly in form. Ashley is head over heels in love with emerging designers, fashion (and tech) start-ups, and go-getters in NYC and elsewhere. What Would Ashley Wear? is a blog for all the girls who stand in front of their closets and wonder, “What the hell should I wear?!”.
The next blogger we have is brand new to the game. So new he hasn’t launched his blog yet although he’s working to build it now. His name is Ryan Williams and he’ll be covering Menswear and a few select Womenswear shows. Ryan is Trini, from Brooklyn and loves fashion & music. Plus he has dope style. I basically swindled him into covering fashion week and he’s been doing an awesome job.
As reps from @TheNetworkFam, we have Fashion Stylist & Personal Style Blogger Paris Hatcher, @SexyMeetsClassy and Make-Up Artist & Beauty Blogger, Adrienne Caffey, @foreverAC who’ll be featuring guest posts from the team since they can’t make it to NYC this season. @CachaLopez will also be running around snapping pics as our Creative Director and Official Photographer.
All the content will be published from now till the first week of March. We’re taking our time to write posts so we don’t just give you random pics and few sentences that could’ve been summed up in a tweet. In essence, stay tuned for more!
