It’s Pen here to report on Zang Toi’sĀ Spring/Summer 2012 runway show.Ā Zang ToiĀ is another previous de la Pen, NYFW feature. For this season, Zang called the collection: “My Dream of North Africa” since he was inspired by the northern part of one of the most historical continents.
The collection was beautiful as always and I really loved it. The colors used were black, chocolate, blue, with gold detailing on certain pieces. The fabrics were luxurious and high quality, Zang used silk, cashmere, linen, and wool.
This collection was classy, elegant, sexy, and wearable. My favorite pieces were a black two piece suit, a black v-neck sweater paired with the chocolate trousers, and a sheer black dress with gold chains on the shoulders. In essence, it no surprise why Zang received another standing ovation this season. And there it is.
