Dear Pennies & Pens,
For this week’s, “Model Mondays”, I wanted to feature another male model, Zhao Lei. Zhao Lei is a Chinese Model who is signed with three different agencies; Wilhemina in New York, Success in Paris, and d’Management in Milan. Sadly, there is not much information available on Zhao but I had to feature him any way because this boy can take a picture!
Zhao has modeled for major brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Vivienne Westwood, Diesel, and Giorgio Armani. Additionally, he’s also been featured in magazines like Vogue Hommes Japan, V Magazine, GQ China, and Vogue China.
I discovered Zhao thru models.com as he’s ranked #47 in the Top 50 male models. And since I had never featured an Asian male model, I knew he was the right choice for this week. In essence, please make sure you put Zhao on your radar because we may just have the first Asian male supermodel on our hands!
