Dear Pennies,
My apologies for neglecting you this week, it has been a super hectic week filled with school and some upcoming exciting news. Make sure you stay tuned into the blog and follow me on Twitter (@LoudPen) for my big announcement. Moving right along, for this week’s Model Monday’s I chose the ever fabulous, Jourdan Dunn. I actually got the chance to meet Jourdan along with Edward Enninful from American Vogue and i-D Magazine as I was leaving theĀ NUMBER:Lab show during New York Fashion Week.
I have been an admirer of Jourdan for years. Ever since, I saw her on The Fashion Bomb about two years ago, I’ve been hooked. Jourdan is a British fashion model and she’s been modeling since 2007 when she made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week. Since, that time Jourdan has been sauntering up down the runways in New York, Paris, and London and she’s been featured in most of the top international fashion magazines.
Jourdan was featured on the cover of American Vogue, Italian Vogue, Teen Vogue, and i-D Magazine. She’s walked for top designer brands like Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, and Ralph Lauren. Jourdan is known for her “good girl” image, legs, and smile according toĀ NYmag.com. In essence, Jourdan has all the features that make a top model. Which is why she’s in theĀ Burberry 2011 ad campaign along with emerging male model Sacha M’Baye.
Additionally, Jourdan really is super nice. I enjoyed the brief conversation that we had and I think she’s a terrific model. With her lovely brown skin and tall slender frame Jourdan is definitely built to be a model. And with her impressive resume, she has established herself as a model.
And there it is. The Fashion and Style of the Pen…de la Pen.
