Dear Pennies,
It’s Pen here to report on the Nautica Fall/Winter 2011 Presentation. Nautica is a timeless brand, known for its menswear and for the Fall/Winter 2011 collection, the brand presented its signature wearable staples. The color palette was navy, grey, black, brown, white/creme with the occasional splash of red.
The fabrics used were wool, tweed, and cotton which are all popular for menswear. All accessories were also provided by Nautica. I really enjoyed this presentation, it was right by Lincoln Center where most of the New York Fashion Week shows happen so I didn’t have to go far to see it. Also, as I have previously mentioned, I prefer presentation style to runway because you can take pictures at your own leisure and it’s just easier to view the clothes that way.
I’m really loving the menswear I’m seeing on the runways right now. I’ve liked most of the womenswear I’ve seen but the menswear is killing the game right now. Menswear in general has more wearable staples, sometimes designers push the button too much with womenswear. In essence, Nautica is clearly the go-to brand for menswear. The colors are masculine and stylish and the clothes are well made, also the prices are good too. That said, check out Nautica on Facebook and Nautica.com. As always, check me out on Facebook for more pictures of the collection.
And there it is. The Fashion and Style of the Pen…de la Pen.
