Dear Pennies,
First off, let me apologize for not posting as regularly scheduled. My schedule has been hectic with fashion week shows and events and also school. Just as a quick update, this season I’ll be covering international brands like Perry Ellis, Nautica, bebe, and emerging designers like Ann Yee, Zang Toi, Carlos Miele, Farah Angsana, Number:Lab, and more. Basically, I wanted to give you the best international and multicultural fashion that New York Fashion Week has to offer. Since, my schedule is so hectic, I’ll try to get posts up as soon as possible but please be patient.
I’ll also be attending the IFB: Evolving Influence Fashion Blogger Conference. This season, the conference is being sponsored by MAC and Milk Studios. I’m really excited about the conference because the one in September helped me re-focus the blog and for this conference I’m hoping to get tips on how to take this blog to the next level. I have a blueprint in mind, but, it’s always good to hear from industry peers.
Lastly, there are also other events I’ll be going to such as tweet-ups, the Lookbooks Blogger break room and one or two parties. For these events, I’ll most likely focus on live-tweeting instead of a formal post. All runway shows and presentations will get a full review here on the blog. Please make sure you follow me on Twitter (@LoudPen) for live-tweeting, just today I saw Jourdan Dunn and Edward Enninful from Vogue while leaving the Number:Lab show. In essence, my tweets will most likely illustrate my stress, joy, frustration, a short summary of the events and shows I attend. Loves ya, Pennies!
And there it is. The Fashion & Style of the Pen…de la Pen.
I’m glad you’ve got a sense of style LP. If it doesn’t look good on a manniquin I usually don’t buy it.
